Pakistan duly beat Bangladesh in the 1st Test at Chittagong.  After the hosts were routed for 135         (Gul  2/33, Rehman 3/9), openers Taufeeq and Hafeez set Pakistan on the way with a 1st wicket stand of 164, before Taufeeq fell for 61.

Hafeez went on to record his 4th Test ton and was unlucky to be adjudged lbw for 143, when well set for a huge score.  Younus Khan inflicted further misery on the Bangali’s and passed 6000 Test runs.  His 19th Test century, went onto to 200* as Pakistan declared at 594, a massive 459 ahead.

Things were no better for the hosts, second time round.  Hafeez scalped Tamim again, whilst his spin partners, Ajmal and Rehman weaved their magic to snare 6 wickets between them, as Pakistan won the game by an innings and 184 runs.

Mohammad Hafeez became the first spinner to take the new ball in Pakistan Test history.  Congrats to him for becoming number 2 in the ICC ODI bowling ranks, as well as marching up to 2 all rounder ranks.  An outstanding return back into International Cricket.
