After Round 3

Bouncer Sports are proud to begin this edition of the update, with praise for Test star, Taufeeq Umar.  He achieved a career best Test score of 236 in the first Test against Sri Lanka and become, just the 3rd Pakistan Left handed Opener to score a Test Double Century.

Additional plaudits go to Mohammad Hafeez, who scored 75, and with Taufeeq, set a solid foundation with an opening stand of 118.

Division 1
 
Faisalabad v PIA: Shoaib Khan in imperious form, follows up previous innings of 101, 70 with 120 in his 3rd innings of the season. Test Seamer, Abdur Rauf claims 5/93 & 2/28 with Zeeshan Butt (55 & 1/45) for Faisalabad as they draw against PIA.
 
Karachi Blues v WAPDA: Mohammad Sami rescues his side in both innings with scores of 44 & 43.
Rafatullah Mohmand takes WAPDA to a 6 wicket victory with 105*.
 
Habib Bank v Rawalpindi: Sarmad Anwar continues his wicket taking form with 4/73 & 3/84 and reaches 100 first class wickets in his career, as the Bank beat their opponents by 131 runs.
Pindi quick, Mohammad Rameez, works hard for his 4/105 and 26 run effort with the bat.
 
ZTBL v Sialkot:  Peshawar born, Zohaib Khan, top scores with a vital 44 for his side in a total of 121, who then, bundled their opponents out for 97.  Shahid Yousaf gets 57 in the second dig as the Bankers secure a huge 258 runs win.
 
 
Division 2
 
Hyderabad v KRL: Bazid Khan helps KRL scrape a 3 wicket win, with matching efforts of 79 and 61*.
 
Lahore Ravi v Peshawar:  Adnan Raza falls agonisingly short of his 5th FC hundred with 97.  Peshawar quicks, Riaz Afridi (5/121) and Waqar Ahmed, (3/85 and 2/48 take Peshawar to a healthy innings and 45 run victory.

Thirty one year old Peshawar stalwart, Waqar has over a decade of First Class experience under his belt.  He has taken over 300 wickets in the four day format bowling left arm seam.  Ability to bring the ball back makes his a useful operator at professional level, and offers clubs a highly reputable and experienced cricketer.  Had a productive season in the Home Counties League in 2006 with Slough, where 46 wickets in 14 games were taken at 14.22.
